MY BIO

Who I Am

I am a lifetime learner and currently on my professional journey of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in Texas Public Education for the past 18 years.  I have served children from kindergarten through 12th grade, in the classroom, as a school counselor and as an assistant principal.

I am boy mom and love every minute of this life I have been given.  I also am engaged to someone that loves as big as I do and I am so grateful that he was placed in my life.  We have an exciting life to live over the next 45 years of our life.

Traveling is my outlet for life, I love to visit new places and learn about new cultures.  Music is the way to my soul, it is the way that I love to worship and it provides me a peace that allows me to reset.

“The more healthy relationships a child has, the more likely he will be to recover from trauma and thrive. Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love.”
